What data I ask for
In the horary consultation form:
- First and last name
- Email address
- Phone number (optional)
- Your question and, if you like, extra context
- Topic, whether it is your first consultation, and language
- That you accepted the terms, with their version
In the contact form: your name, your email address, your message and the language.
With either form, the type of browser you use is stored too. I don't store your IP address: I turn it into a code that can't be reversed, and I only use it to limit repeated submissions.
Both forms use an anti-spam service to check that you are not a robot.
What I use it for
To read your question, decide whether I take it and answer you, or to reply to your message. Nothing else.
Where it goes
It is stored on my own server. To handle consultations and send emails I rely on outside services, as the site and its videos do, and they only receive what they need to work.
How long I keep it
As long as I need to handle your consultation, and 180 days at most. Then I delete it, and it is gone from the backups within a year at most.
Cookies and visit statistics
I use Google Analytics, from Google, to see how many people visit the site: which pages are viewed, for how
long, from which country or approximate city, on what kind of device and browser, and which site people come
from. To do this it stores the _ga cookie and a _ga_ cookie followed by a code in
your browser.
In the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Brazil (and whenever your country is not known), Google Analytics is not loaded until you press ‘Accept’: until then nothing is sent to Google. Everywhere else it runs from the moment you arrive, and you can decline it in the same notice.
You can change your choice at any time under ‘Cookie preferences’, in the footer of every page. If you
decline, the _ga cookies are deleted from your browser.
What is stored in your browser
Besides the Google Analytics cookies, the site keeps your cookie choice, the language you picked and the last time you saw the home page in your browser's local storage. None of it leaves your browser.
